Dispensary

We are able to provide a dispensing service to you if you live in a rural area or in a village near Bury St. Edmunds, providing you live more than one mile from a retail pharmacy. This provides you with the convenience of being able to collect your medication at the time of your surgery visit without the need to visit a retail pharmacy afterwards.

Repeat medications can also be collected directly from the Dispensary and ordered on your behalf each month saving you time. We will also text you when your prescription is ready so you don’t have a wasted trip.

We also provide a delivery service for our Elderly and housebound patients using a regular small team of friendly drivers.

If you find you are struggling with your medication we can also provide a Dossett box to help you manage your tablets.

If there are any queries relating to the medication these can be dealt with directly by the doctor, or call our dispensary team who will be happy to help you.

You do, however, retain the right to have your medication dispensed by a retail pharmacy, if you so choose.
