Dispensary

We are able to provide a dispensing service to you if you live in a rural area or in a village near Bury St. Edmunds, providing you live more than one mile from a retail pharmacy. This provides you with the convenience of being able to collect your medication at the time of your surgery visit without the need to visit a retail pharmacy afterwards.

Repeat medications can be collected directly from the surgery without having to take the prescription to a retail pharmacy. If there are any queries relating to the medication these can be dealt with directly by the doctor, on the premises. You do, however, retain the right to have your medication dispensed by a retail pharmacy, if you so choose, and the town’s pharmacies do provide collection services for their customers and may deliver items to housebound people.
